William E. "Bill" Myers, Sr.

William E. “Bill” Myers, Sr., age 88, of Lemoyne, died at 3:45 AM Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Shirley V. (Fries) Myers.

Born July 1, 1937, in York, he was a son of the late George F. and Effie S. (Becker) Myers. He was retired as a driver and salesman for Holsum Bakers and, prior to that for Capital Bakers, Manbeck Baking Company and Buttercrust Baking Company. He was a former member of United Methodist Church of West Fairview and also served in the United States Air Force.

In addition to his wife of 62 years, Mr. Myers is survived by a son, William E. Myers, Jr., (Melissa), of Allentown; a daughter, Lea Ann Myers, of Lemoyne; and two step grandchildren, Charles Savoy, Jr. and Meghan Duvall. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Roy, George, and Robert Myers; and a sister, Bonnie Lee Myers.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, with Pastor Martin Romain officiating. Viewing will be from 1:00-2:00 PM. Burial will be in Paddletown Cemetery, Newberrytown, with military rites presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
